Transfer News: Alvalro Fernandez leaves Man Utd for new club: Alvaro Fernandez, a full-back for Manchester United, has officially left the team to sign a loan deal with Portuguese powerhouse Benfica that would last until the end of the current campaign.

This was revealed by the Red Devils on their website early on Wednesday.
After making waves with Man United’s senior team in the summer, Fernandez started the season with La Liga’s Granada CF.

The 20-year-old played for Granada in 13 different competitions.
But he was invited back earlier this month, and he will now play for the Primeira Liga winners through 2023–2024.
Part of Man United’s announcement said, “We wish Fernandez the best of luck at the Estadio da Luz and this will be another valuable opportunity for him to get senior experience under his belt.”
