Hisbah arrests Popular TikToker Murja Kunya for ‘immorality’: Murja Ibrahim Kunya, the popular TikToker, has been arrested by the Kano State Hisbah Board on allegations of immorality.

Hisbah chairman Aliyu Usman confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Usman stated that Kunya is well-known for her immoral behavior and will be tried in a Shari’ah court.
He said: “She was arrested yesterday (Monday) late in the evening at her residence located at Tinshama area. We spent about three hours waiting for her before she finally showed up, and we picked her up.
“She is being charged with immoral acts, which she is widely known for. There is someone who every day comes around to pick her up around 10 pm and will return her by midnight or 1 am.”
ENOUGHINFO reports that the Hisbah Board has initiated a manhunt for at least six well-known Tiktok skit creators who reportedly posted filthy films on social media.
This comes just a few months after the board’s Commander-General, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, called all female Tiktokers in Kano to a session in which the board pledged to rehabilitate and empower them through enterprises and scholarships.
At the gathering, Sheikh Daurawa urged all Tiktok and other social media artists to refrain from publishing information that promotes immorality in society.
