Elon Musk Threatens to Sue The Anti-Defamation league for Defamation
The owner of X, previously known as Twitter, Elon Musk, stated in a tweet that he is thinking of suing the American Jewish Defence League (ADL), which fights “defamation of the Jewish people,” following a meeting between ADL President Jonathan Greenblatt and X CEO Linda Yaccarino on Friday to talk about “hate” on the site. In a public statement, the ADL criticised X, claiming that Musk had given antisemitic organisations permission to “organize and share propaganda” on the platform.
“To clear our platform’s name on the matter of anti-Semitism, it looks like we have no choice but to file a defamation lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League … oh the irony!” Musk tweeted.
