Rema Set to Rock the Brit Awards Stage: Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, is a Nigerian singer who has been announced to participate in this year’s BRIT Awards, the most prestigious music awards ceremony in the United Kingdom.

On Thursday morning, the organizers made the announcement on their social media pages.
“Remain composed; @heisrema will be performing at the 2024 #BRITs.”

“Let’s goooooooooo,” Brit Awards posted on X.
Rema will make history by being the second Nigerian performer at the Brit Awards. In 2018, Burna Boy gave a performance at the ceremony.
According to the ENOUGHINFO, Rema’s song “Calm Down” is a nominee for the highly sought-after International Song of the Year category at the 2024 Brit Awards, while Burna Boy and Asake are nominated in the star-studded International Artist of the Year category.

The award ceremony is scheduled for March 2, 2023, in London.
No Nigerian has won a Brit Award yet.
