Thomas Tuchel explains why Bayern Munich lost to Lazio: Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, has provided an explanation for his team’s 1-0 loss to Lazio in their first-leg UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match on Wednesday.

After missing their opportunities to take the lead against Lazio in the first half, Tuchel claimed Bayern did everything in their power to lose the game.
After the game, Tuchel spoke with the media and said:
In the first half, we had to take the lead. We had three clear chances. We have to do these things. [The second half was] characterised by uncertainty again. It was a bit slapstick. We did everything to lose this match. It was in our hands.
“At a certain point we stopped believing, I have no idea why. There were many individual mistakes.
“We are frustrated and angry about the defeat.”
