Jurrien Timber speaks on lack of game time at Arsenal: Jurrien Timber, an Arsenal defender, has said that Mikel Arteta’s lack of playing time has left him “frustrated.”

In a £38 million transfer, Timber moved from Ajax to Arsenal last summer. He has only been able to play for the Gunners twice, though.

In the Community Shield, Arsenal defeated Manchester City with the Netherlands international playing for seventy-six minutes.
“Of course at some points it’s been difficult, because you are not playing, and that is the thing you love to do,” Timber told Arsenal’s website.
“Sometimes you really want to join the team – when you are enjoying the game so much you really want to get down there and be part of it.
“That is frustrating, because sometimes it looks so amazing you want to be part of it.”
