Singer Simi reveals that she never wanted to marry an Artiste:  Simi, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has stated that she never planned to get married to an artiste.

The 35-year-old singer talked about how she met her husband Adekunle Gold in a recent edition of the podcast “Tea With Tay.”

Simi claimed that at first, she believed Gold to be merely a fan attempting to get in touch with her on Facebook.

She continued by saying she didn’t know “he was singing” when she first met her spouse while working as a graphic designer.

“When I first met my husband, I did not know he was singing. Because I already said I cannot marry a singer. He used to do this King of Photoshop. I have never heard him sing up till that time. I think he was even a fan,” she said.

“He had sent me a message on Facebook. I never saw it. I still have not replied. I sensed that it was him that would be good for me.”
