Sask Polytech Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert campuses provide a two-year diploma program in practical nursing, along with online distance learning opportunities. Through community-based clinical practice education experiences and on-site laboratories, you may apply your nursing theory, knowledge, and skills in a range of settings.

Because the curriculum is structured across six semesters, principles learned in one semester can be expanded upon in later semesters. The six semesters are two years or 76 weeks. Courses are made to accommodate a variety of learning preferences.

A blended learning approach is used to offer courses, combining online and in-person instruction. As a reminder, students who have passed BIOL 102, BIOL 103, SOCI 160, and SOCI 201 in the past may be eligible for transfer credit upon admission into the program.
