For someone who only joined the team in the summer, Pochettino is already under a lot of pressure. The 51-year-old has urged patience in the face of Chelsea’s dismal start to the new league season.

According to Birmingham World, Lopetegui was there at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s most recent loss.

Lopetegui, who oversaw Wolves the previous season, is rumoured to be waiting for a chance to return to the Premier League. He was seen going into and coming out of a hospitality room.

During his brief tenure with Wolves, he guided the team to 13th position in the standings. In the summer, the 57-year-old quit from the Midlands organisation.

Lopetegui, who has managed Real Madrid, Sevilla, and the Spanish national team, after leaving wolves has been unemployed. Nonetheless, it appears that he is considering a managerial position in the Premier League.

Few hours ago before this, Pochettino stated that after Chelsea’s loss to Villa, his players needed to “grow up.

“We need to grow up like a team, not only in an individual way,” he said. “I think players like Nico who are so young and feeling the Premier League, they need time.

“In this type of game, we are competing and want to win and football is about winning. But also players, when they are young, need to learn, and experience and make mistakes. That’s why we feel disappointed as there are too many situations like this.”
