Criticism motivates me and makes me stronger — Nwabali: Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali of the Super Eagles and Chippa United FC has stated that receiving criticism spurs him on and makes him more resilient to give it his all.

Nwabali, who defeated South Africa and was named man of the match, made this statement on Wednesday in Bouake, Côte d’Ivoire, at a news conference following the game.
Following a thrilling 120 minutes of play, Nigeria overcame South Africa 4-2 to advance to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.

“It happens in football; if football goes like this, your fans want more from you, and they say things like this.
“I just feel like it is a motivation for me to keep working hard,” Nwabali said.
Additionally, he pointed out that when Peseiro announced that he was visiting him in South Africa, where he is employed with Chippa United FC, it seemed “like a dream.”
The goalkeeper, who is based in South Africa, expressed gratitude to his teammates for their early support.
He reaffirmed his determination to give Nigeria and the Super Eagles his all. (NAN)
