2024 UTME: JAMB approves 747 CBT centers for registration and examination: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has certified 747 Computer Based Test (CBT) Centers for the 2024 UTME exercise, which will begin on Monday.

The board announced this in a bulletin issued in Abuja by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s Public Communications Advisor.

The board had shortlisted 907 CBT centres for accreditation, but after revalidation and integrity checks, it could only certify 747 for the 2024 UTME exercise.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent who monitored registration at various CBT centres in the FCT and its surrounds discovered that candidates were present in large numbers at the various centers visited.
Some of the applicants who shared their experiences thought the registration went smoothly, while others said otherwise.

At the Global Learning Institute, across from the Federal Ministry of Finance, a candidate, Pelumi Rotimi, claimed the registration process was simple and she was able to register in a matter of minutes.

Rotimi stated that she hopes to study hard in order to obtain a decent mark and gain admission to her preferred university.

Candidates must, however, have the following documents to register for the 2024 UTME: their National Identification Number (NIN) and personal information.
