Wayne Rooney receives £1.5m offer to manage English club
The English Championship team will give Rooney £1.5 million a year, according to The Sun.
His pay will be close to £29,000 per week, more than three times Eustace’s weekly salary of £9,000.
Despite the Blues presently holding the sixth spot in the standings, Eustace has been sacked.
According to reports, Rooney has been given the position to help the squad forge a new identity, one that would be characterised by a “clear no fear playing style that all Birmingham City teams will adopt and embrace.”
Rooney is eager to go back to England and has already ended his contract with D.C. United.
