A goal by Adeyemi against PSG gave them the lead over the French champions in a group that also contained Newcastle and AC Milan.

In the round of sixteen, Dortmund, ranked fifth in Germany, will take on PSV Eindhoven. The first leg of the match is set for late February.

Adeyemi has only scored twice for Dortmund this season, both of which came in Europe, but the Germany international has often been utilized as a substitute.
