Taremi is dealing with an injury to his right thigh’s abductor, the Portuguese club disclosed.
In 172 appearances across all competitions since joining from Rio Ave., the 31-year-old has scored 86 goals.
Taremi, though, has struggled to score goals this season, managing just three in the Primeira Liga and another three in other tournaments.

The Iran international, who has participated in Porto’s previous two games, is expected to play against the Gunners. However, the team has stated that he sustained a muscle injury during practice on Sunday and is currently receiving treatment.
