Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke wins Premier League player of the month: After five and a half seasons in the premier league, the 26-year-old becomes the first player from the Cherries to ever win the trophy.
Dominic Solanke scored six goals in six games during a fantastic December.
As Cherries started a five-game unbeaten streak, Solanke also scored in wins over Fulham and Manchester United in addition to scoring in a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.
The former England international contributed to the win at Crystal Palace as well, but the month ended with a loss at Tottenham Hotspur.
They included Cole Palmer of Chelsea, Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool, and Marcos Senesi, his Cherries colleague.
The shortlist also included Michael Olise (Crystal Palace), Mohammed Kudus (West Ham United), and Matheus Cunha (Wolverhampton Wanderers).
