Mohbad passed away on Tuesday of last week, and he was controversially buried the following day.
Bella Shmurda Reveals why he wont pay his Last Respects to Mohbad
Following his passing on Monday, Bella Shmurda said on X,
“Until those who oppress him face justice and sentenced, nothing like last respect. Igboro be aware (Let the street know).”
His death has sparked concerns since he did not get a dignified funeral worthy of his position in the entertainment business.
Young people in Nigeria, particularly those who support Mohbad, have been calling for justice for him. Tweets on social media, Blogs and some have even taken to the streets in Lagos, Ogun, and Delta states.
A 13-person special investigation team was established by the Lagos State Police Command on Monday to look into Mohbad’s death.
On Tuesday, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also gave the state Police Command the go-ahead to begin a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death in coordination with the Department of State Service (DSS).
