The French striker claimed in his post-match interview that Newcastle’s missed chances to score in front of goal was the reason Milan and the Serie A team drew 0-0.

“I think we had so many scoring opportunities and efficiency in front of goal is very important at this level,” Giroud said.
“We gave our all, we were just missing something in the finishing.
