The choice was made public on Thursday by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU). There was “overwhelming evidence” against him, according to AIU.
The offences included trying to utilise a forbidden drug or procedure and possessing prohibited materials.

Oduduru, however, insisted on his innocence all through the inquiry.
The 27-year-old, whose best time in the 100 metres is 9.86 seconds, was eliminated in the Tokyo 100 metres heats but advanced to the 200 metres semi-finals.
The 2014 World Junior Athletics Championships saw him win silver in the 200 metres.
