According to spokesperson for the foreign ministry Kanchana Patarachoke,The Thai embassy in Israel was informed of the fatalities by the victims’ employers.
She stated that after the conflict broke out on Saturday due to Hamas’ massive onslaught. Eight more Thais had been injured and eleven had been taken prisoner.
The labour ministry in Bangkok estimates that there are around 30,000 Thai employees in Israel. Most of whom are employed in the agricultural sector.
Israeli soldiers have started to relocate labourers out of hazardous zones. This was according to Labour Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn.

“There are 1,099 who have registered to return home,” Phiphat said in an interview on Thai television.
