Benjamin Mendy signs 2-year deal with Lorient after being cleared of Rape: Only days after the France international was found not guilty of raping a woman and the attempted rape of another, World Cup champion Benjamin Mendy agreed to a two-year contract with Lorient FC.

Mendy became the most expensive defender in the world when City paid Monaco £52 million to acquire the Frenchman in 2017.
