If Nwabali is not fit, I trust Uzoho – Jose Peseiro

Super Eagles of Nigeria coach Jose Peseiro says he is confident in his other goalkeepers if Stanley Nwabali is unable to recover in time for the match against Angola.

Peseiro mentioned this during a press conference prior of the quarter-finals versus Angola’s Black Antelope.

He stated that Nwabali will take a late fitness test on Thursday and that he will decide whether or not to field him after that.

Peseiro, on the other hand, has declared that if Nwabali is unable to arrive in time for the match, he will put Uzoho in goal.

He said, “Today we will make the final decision. He will do one last test to see if he is really fit but if he cannot play, Francis [Uzoho] will play. And I trust him.”
