The result, which places Roma ninth, puts additional pressure on Mourinho.
Mourinho was not in the dugout for the encounter because he was serving a touchline ban for receiving a red card in each of their previous two games.

Nonetheless, he was booed when he appeared on the big screen at the San Siro, which he watched from the stands.
Mourinho’s contract expires in June, and the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager is anticipated to depart the Italian capital between now and then.
