Breaking News: Man Stabbed to death in Angell Town, Brixton
Shortly after noon on Monday, the Metropolitan Police were called to Morrison Road, which is close to Angell Town Park. Despite the efforts of the responding cops and paramedics, the man passed away at the site despite having significant stabbing wounds.
There are no arrests on record. According to the Met, police cordons are still in place as an investigation is ongoing at the location on the Angell Town Estate.
The Lambeth borough has been issued a Section 60 authorization, which will be in effect from Monday from 1pm to Tuesday at 4am. This gives police permission to search everyone around at that moment.
In a video shown on social media platform X, anti-knife crime activist Lorraine Jones Burrell declared, “The worst has happened.” In broad daylight, another son was slain and another son gone.
