Olympique Lyonnais FC Manager Laurent Blanc has been Sacked as result of the teams poor performance in the league. Olympique Lyon announced in a statement that Blanc and the team “mutually” agreed to split ways.

In October of 2022, Olympique Lyon rehired Blanc, a former head coach for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and France.
Olympique Lyon, one of the most well-known teams in Europe. Having only one point from four games this season and is the bottom of the French Ligue 1 standings.
Four French titles have been won by Blanc, a significant player in French football: three with PSG from 2014 to 2016 and one with Bordeaux in 2009.
Former France defender Blanc led his team to the UEFA EURO 2000 championship and the FIFA World Cup in 1998. He was a part of Manchester United’s 2003 English Premier League victory.
Blanc played for a few different teams before signing with Manchester United. Including the French teams Montpellier, Olympique Marseille, Saint-Etienne, and Auxerre, the Italian team Inter Milan, and the Spanish powerhouse Barcelona.
