Israel releases ‘proof’ showing that Hamas militants shot at Hospital k!lling 500 people including children: Israel’s military has provided evidence that the horrific explosion at a Gaza hospital, which is thought to have killed up to 500 people, including women and children, was caused by the Islamist militant group Hamas.

On Tuesday night, October 17, the Palestinian Ministry of Health declared that the slaughter at the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital was “unprecedented,” noting that many of the victims were women and children.
The murder of women and children has heightened tensions in the Middle East, which has been in a state of crisis ever since Hamas launched a murderous spree across Israel’s border on October 7, prompting Israel to launch a bombing campaign in retaliation.
However, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) retaliated against accusations that they were at fault on Wednesday morning, October 18, alleging that Hamas was behind a “global media campaign to hide what really happened.”
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, an IDF spokesman, informed reporters that the military had evidence that the explosion was brought on by an erroneous rocket that the Islamic Jihad organization had detonated.

According to him, Islamic Jihad fired ten more rockets at Israel at 6:59 p.m., the same time as there were first reports of an explosion at the hospital. Hamas had fired a barrage of rockets towards Israel around 6:15 p.m.
Hagari stated that the hospital building’s structure is still mostly intact. Despite the shell landing in a parking lot and the leftover propellant starting a massive fire.
Reportedly fired from a nearby cemetery, he informed reporters that “no IDF fire by land, sea, or air hit the hospital.”
The spokesperson further stated that in intercepted communications, militants’refer to an Islamic Jihad failure’ and that this information is currently being ‘used as propaganda against Israel’.
Hagari said: ‘It is impossible to know what happened as quickly as Hamas claimed they knew. That should have been an initial warning sign for many.
‘Unlike Hamas, the IDF have launched an immediate examination which was overseen at the very highest levels of command.
‘This professional review was based on intelligence, operational systems and aerial footage, all of which we cross-checked.
‘The evidence which we are sharing with you all confirms the explosion in the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza was caused by an Islamic Jihad rocket that was misfired.’
Jordan postponed a meeting with US President Joe Biden, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi due to the hospital strike.
Abbas withdrew from a meeting with Biden as well. After former Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal called for protests in front of embassies worldwide, demonstrators flocked to the streets in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, and the West Bank.
