Osimhen battles Messi and Ronaldo for 2023 IFFHS Men’s World Best Player: The 2023 International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Men’s World Best Player award has gone to Nigerian attacker Victor Osimhen.

On its official website, the IFFHS revealed the nominations on Monday.
There are twenty-three more players on the award’s shortlist.
The nominees include Antoine Griezman, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Lionel Messi, who took home the prize in 2022, and Bukayo Saka.

Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Kevin De Bruyne, Martin Odegaard, Mohamed Salah, and Vinicius Junior are also present.
Following his outstanding performances for Napoli in the 2022–2023 season, Osimhen has received multiple award nominations.
With 26 goals from 32 games, the striker was the top scorer in Serie A the previous season.
