Napoli social media executive resigns after Osimhen TikTok scandal: Alessio Fortino, Napoli’s social media administrator, has resigned from his position with the Italian club. Enoughinfo.com
This follows a spat sparked by videos released on their Tik Tok account. That appeared to insult striker Victor Osimhen, prompting his agent to threaten legal action.
The first video showed the 24-year-old pleading for a penalty, with sped-up audio labelled ‘Gimme penalty please’ before firing the spot-kick wide of the post.
The second video from the club’s account compared Osimhen to a “coconut,” which is usually seen as a racist insult. But this has since been removed.
