2023 Jamb Mop-up UTME Result Out: Following an emergency board meeting on May 1, 2023 in Abuja, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board organized a make-up UTME for applicants who were unable to take the exams during the board’s allotted time due to “no faults of their own.”
Three types of candidates were mentioned by the examination body in the meeting minutes: those “who were verified at their centers but could not sit the examination; those who could not be biometrically verified; and those with mismatched data,” the board said.

How To Check Your UTME Mop-up Result
Checking your JAMB result by SMS is simple. Just generate an SMS with the words “UTME RESULT” in it and send it to either 55019 or 66019. Use the phone number that was used to register for the UTME, please. You must have at least N50 remaining on your airtime credit. Currently, this is the only approach that is available. When JAMB opens the free portal, we will notify those who don’t have enough airtime. When the portal opens, everyone who used the shortcode technique to check will also need to confirm their results there.
